My Career started straight out of high school as the bookkeeper and office manager for a local newspaper in the St. Cloud area. Then I got married and moved to Washington DC. After a couple of years, we were lucky enough to come back to Minnesota where I found myself in the accounting world again. Shortly thereafter, I started my own accounting business - Common Cents Bookkeeping. A decade and a half later, we're still going strong.

As you can imagine, accounting exercises the left side of my brain, so to help keep my brain balanced, photography is the creative outlet for the right side of my brain. We are blessed to live on 10 acres. Many of the photos you see in the gallery are from our own property.

Many of my images have been used by local newspapers. One of my photos was also names as an "honorable mention" in a photography contest from Farm and Ranch Living Magazine.
